That looks like something she inherited from her mom/grandmom. It's a kamkhwaab ka gharara and I think a tissue ka dupatta (although the drape of the dupatta is nicer than traditional stiff tissue).
The work/kaam on the outfit is very classic, zari ka kaam as well as the chattapati bayl and gold bayl on the dupatta.

Wish I had grandmas who wore outfits as cool as that. Mom had some very classy outfits for her wedding, don't know what happened to those.
Are there any designers who do this sort of work now though? I've want something like that for my mehndi.

I don’t know enough about Pakistani designers, but if you can source the fabric, kaamwaalays will do whatever you want - you just need to give them the proper guidance.

or was it Korangi) in Karachi (my mother was in intrepid shopper and apparently going to places like this wasn’t as terrifying as it is now 
).

yeah It does look really good! I know someone who actually went to the wedding... they said it was one of the best.. and I think her outfit is either HSY or Bunto... her immediate family was dressed really nice too!
