Re: BRIDAL PICS.

Hey Dafodil, I am not sure but I do know it is in Lahore. I also read that the black umbrella is a signature pose for this particular Lahore-based photographer so why dont you open a thread in the wedding section and ask which photographer is known for the umbrella pose b.c someone did mention it on this board. It might be Khawar Riaz, just ask to be confirm. You pay post the pictures alongside.

Re: BRIDAL PICS.

Re: BRIDAL PICS.

^ Brides in the West appear to be dressing slightly differently; more Indian style I think.

Re: BRIDAL PICS.

Yes, many people I know are going for the slightly more Indian style. I know soooo many people who have gone for the fishtail lengha as well. i think its because pakistani wedding fashions is still slowly trickling through to the shops, and the whole long kameez style lenghay are really really expensive still at the moment!

Re: BRIDAL PICS.

It's interesting. I see a good mix amongst people I know, BUT there are more Indian designs readily available here, and tend to be slightly cheaper because there is more competition amongst Indian designers.

The Pakistani ones are more expensive, and harder to find. Those people who have family in Pakistan or travel usually still get their stuff from Pakistan. That being said, some of the more recent brides I know prefer the lengha styles that are more common amongst Indian designs to the ghararas that are more common in Pakistani designs. I still love the ghararas :D.
