The first time i saw memons in their cute white gowns was in quetta i believe, i asked my husband who they were noticing them from their different hijab styles and he told me they were memons. I dont know why but i liked them from the moment i saw them…just cute lol!
They r just a very quiet and peacefull unlike wahabis who give islam a bad name…anyhow i found more pics and from their gowns u can see they r memons.. lol

Theyre not Memons. Those burqa-like gowns that the ladies are wearing (called 'ridas') and the gold topis that the men are wearing are the traditional dress of the Dawoodi Bohras...they're a very small Shia sect in India & Pakistan (esp. in Bombay, Gujarat, and Karachi).
Memons are just a Sindhi/Gujarati business community...most of them are Sunnis, and they actually can be Wahabi too...

I dont think i know any memons or ppl dressed like this here in holland. Actually i m not so much in touch with pakistanis at all but anyway.u both have intrigued me to search more about the history of these 2 memons and bhori dawoodis....
