btw, my mom had a simple red gharara that she wore at my chachas wedding when i was little. I had her give it to me, and since it was totally plain, i put some gold beaded lace on the gharara and shirt (daman, neckline and sleeves) and got a crushed dupatta to go with it in two colors, gold and red. I wore it on my dholki and no one could believe it was over 20 years old.
