SGC; I like to think it's because at asian weddings, where there are millions of guest and loads of new brides wondering around with their red lenghas and jhoomars (trying to out do the brides), that a stage is required so you can find the bride and groom to give them blessings....and gifts!!!
at my wedding my so called intelligent sister -in- laws- to- be have all informed me that they are all wearing their wedding outfits, i don't care if they are not wearing their dupatta on their heads, i'm still mega annoyed.....i'm the bride!!!!!!!
