I remember visiting Nathiagili etc in Pakistan once and saw tons of honeymoon couples. What amazed me that these ladies were dolled to the max for walking up and down hills, wearing full gold and zari outfits, Why do you need to wear silk and you gold sets when it isn't practical to? You can look attractive to your new husband without looking so OTT.
Why does a new bride have to wear even a touch of gold on her honeymoon? who cares?
Most importantly, why attract unneccasary attention? What if you get robbed? that much gold is surely going to attract undesirables.
