:hinna: a month? its not possible to like start sthe process while i’m here ??
What about if you find a bridal from anarkali or rang-maal or something, wit the work already done, then again I dunno if i can trust any of the darzis there:grumpy:
umm...some years ago, i know you could get dresses in ichra. i don't know about these days. might wanna just ask someone if they still sell dresses. if you want...call maaria b. and ask her how the prices and stuff and the fittings. if not, if you know someone you can trust with the dresses...tell them to look at a dress from the designer, and just get it made from scratch or sometihng. that part can be done there. they can even send you pics of the work in progress.
the actual fitting can be done while you're there. it might be done in less than 3 weeks.
it's your wedding. take some days off. it's going to be worth it
I have now read alot how beautiful lengha and make up u had. Im just dying to see u. I would really like to see ur photo also. And congratulation for ur wedding.
Oh definitely three weeks will be enough. My mother never goes for more than two weeks and she gets everything done. As far as bridals go, a designer may take longer to complete the shaadi outfit, but they will fedex it to you. Your best bet will be to go with a design she already has so that there is less room for something to come out differently that you had thought it would.
You can always get a ready made bridal, such as in Anarkali (no need to go to Rang Mahal). I don’t know the names of shops there, but all the zari shops are right next to each other. The benefit about a ready made is that you know exactly what you’ll be getting, it can easily be stitched to your measurements and you’ll be taking it home with you. My cousin’s wife got her valima jora from anarkali, and it looked so designer you couldn’t believe it. Totally beautiful dress.
Raani, i was explaining Anarkali to someone and I just started to remember, alllllllll the beautiful dresses they’ll shw you and stuff. . So yeah, i think ill go to anarkali. I was thinking of going to Maria and getting a ready-made otufit semi-formal outfit, instead of a bridal. Less hassle i suppose
it's Paris Market in anarkali and Bano Sari house there which have the good ones..there's this shop Babar Zari house there and it has the BEST of the ones you'll find in the rest of the bazaar !
