Anarkali, defense. Shaadi stuff ( ;) ) I'm not too sure about as I haven't made those trips yet :D but really fancy dresses are still available.

I think red color came from the hindu's, in Saudi Arabia and other arab countries they wear white........ maybe because most of our wedding customs are adopted from the hindu's....

I guess not just that...
red is a bright festive color, so it makes more sense the bride wears something in-ur-face type on her wedding day, rather than wearing something soft and more party-wear ish

but recently i heard something really interesting
males are really attracted to the color red, they tend to pick it out more often than any color in a line up

^that is really interesting since they usually say that wearing red symbolizes passion, love and warmth. I guess you need all that during your wedding:)

Are you kidding me...she looks awful. Silver/swarovski crystal embroidery does not go with chunky 22kt gold at all. And her makeup makes her look washed out and colorless.
