hi i was just a bit worried because the make up in pakistan i think is totally different from the make up here (uk) ive seen a few brides from pakistan and their make up is heavy around the eyes it looks nice but not everyones cup of tea, are there places there that do differnet styles?
Im looking to get married next yr aug inshallah and im having trouble finding someone that will do make up like the ones on asian bride. . . . i wanted the its there but not in your face, but everyone i ask say its fashion there and make up which is heavy around the eyes looks the best. . . . .

And do you think i should take my foundation from here?? i dont want to look pasty on my big day im not that light i would say normal asian skin.

N e ways ive gone on a bit i will try and find a few pics of brides to give a rough idea of what im looking for :)

Hi Missing_in_Action, ur wife got make-up from Daniella's. I'm new to this site and I don't know how to PM? I wanna see pics of ur wife as I'm getting married in May 2009. and extremely confused regarding the make-up. People are telling me all different salons and stories. Sobia's is the best in RWP! Now she's in Islamabad too...went to her for a facial and she was doing some brides, they looked STUNNING. She also did a few of my cousins's and she transformed them....in other words, she is the bomb.

Is her make-up more traditional or modelish? I dont want any cakish look. I e-mailed Sobias 3 days ago but haven't heard anything yet. How advance I need to book her. I tried to call her also but there was busy tone on all of her nymbers.

Her style is NOT paindoo, or cake-ish..it's really fresh, young and funky...the girl i saw was wearing a peach ghararah, she did smokey eye make up with light peach cheeks and light lips, she had a really awesome way of arranging the hair and dupatta...go for a trial!
i dunno how advance you have to book her, but you need a trial...i dont live in pak, but i have recently been for a holiday there with my husband and my in - laws live in pindi so they know whos the best for what there...i went there with my sis in law for a facial and she is really really good...

Thanks for the info giel. It really helped. I tried to call her but unable to as the phone is busy or something. Is there a way that u can ask ur in-laws to call her and ask how advance she needs to be booked? I know its a huge favor girl. If u can, awesome if u won't be able to, that's fine too. No worries then. Didi u go this year or at the end of last year?

I would definately recomend diplex in rawalpindi, i had mine done frm there by jugnoo, they are the best, perhaps buy a full bridal package from the, including photoshoot, they are very professional

There is also babloo and moon's new salon on RWP. I know Moon used to work for Diplex before.

im very impressed wid all ur posts...
