Re: Bridal jewellery

this bride looks so sweet but wish this one was more in focus cuz all i can see is her face....can't really see the detail of the jewelry

Re: Bridal jewellery

I was wondering what the stone is that looks like a diamond....i've seen a lot of jewelry that has that stone

Re: Bridal jewellery

i dont think its diamonds, it looks more like kundan

Re: Bridal jewellery

 what’s kundan? I thought that just meant that it was from a particular region or state.

Re: Bridal jewellery

really like dis set...

Re: Bridal jewellery

No they are not rubies.

Re: Bridal jewellery

The sets withstone like look are made of kundan. It is also gold. kind of expensive.

Re: Bridal jewellery

no i think kundan is a type of jewelry too
i dont know how to describe it but its when stones are kind of embedded in the metal instead of being set in there with prongs, and usually the stones are fake, the metal can be real in which case its muy expensive because they use so much metal

Re: Bridal jewellery

Kundan is a type of jewelry that is made with either a clear, unfaceted gemstone or crystal (or even glass, for a less expensive option). They place it in a metal foil backing so it gets that that shiny look. I’ve seen lots of artficial kundan jewelry at Indian clothing stores. It’s definitely a pretty look.

Re: Bridal jewellery

you must be talking about cubic zirconia…crystals are also used in desi jewelry in different colors…they look like zircon but are less shiny.

Re: Bridal jewellery

oh wowwy wow! that necklace is so nice. The diamonds and pearls combination looks really awesome.

Re: Bridal jewellery

thanks guys for letting me know cuz when I looked it up, it just said that kundan jewellry was from rajastan....it's much clearer now:)
