Ooops - I had posted a question about pics on the Bridal pics thread, but I think it belongs here.
I was wondering if anyone had seen any pics of girls wearing just a jhoomer (no tikka). It doesn't have to be just the bride. I just want to see what it would look like if the jhoomer were worn alone?

Try and go to Pakistan, India or Dubai. These prices seem very steep to me. Or give a trusted someone a picture of what you want and they can get it made. The picture has to be detailed or you can give them a style to follow.
Other option is describe what you want to a relative/friend in those countries and get them to take a pic of the jewellery and email it to you. Thing is few jewellers will allow you to do that unless you explain really well.
If you really have to buy in the US, then shop around and write down prices and keep a sketch and weight of the pieces so that you can compare.

they sell them in dubai got one but they are quite hard to find there but very unique and elegant designs!! saw a few here in the US but were quite expensive and really big sets saw one about 4 months ago 18 tola polki set with rubies about $8500 just the necklace ring and earings i wasnt looking for somthing tht heavy
