I wouldn’t nurse in public myself without a cover but that being said I also would not have a hissy fit or be embarrassed or horrified if I saw a mom doing it. It serves a purely utilitarian function- i.e. feeding your kid. It’s not sexual- or shouldn’t be seen as such, anyway.
