Breastfeeding fatwa causes stir!!!!

The opinion of Aisha (RA) was that this applies to all people, but the consensus of Sahabah was that suckling to create the bond of motherhood is only for the first 2 years of the child.

That is a serious allegation against hazrat Aisha(ra)

Besides … one cannot suckle an adult because to show him the satr is not allowed. Even a man approaching to suckle is prohibited.

It sort of defeats the purpose. In order to be alone with a non-mahram woman you need to breastfeed from her. As if all women have milk! Also, doesn’t one need to be alone with her to breastfeed in the first place or is she expected to make a show of it in public?

There is no need to go in scholarly discussion about this issue. An adult having such contact with another woman is by all means sexual. No brainer.
