The truth should not be lost on to Pakistanis just because the cause of Woolmer's death has been "downgraded" from murder to heart attack.
Ask yourself :
Would Woolmer still have died of heart attack had Pakistan won that match against Ireland ?
Ok. But how does one know for sure that it was n't a natural death? So the argument runs both ways. Even some seemingly very health people die suddenly. Woolmer ((with a BMI (body mass index) of > 40 I should imagine)) on the other hand had health problems as highlighted by me above
^ would Woolmer still have been killed had Pakistan won that match?
I don't really understand what you are trying to convey.
All I am saying is that even though "heart attack" seems to be a bit of anti-climax now (media-wise), the fact remains that Woolmer would probably be still alive if he was not Coach of Pakistan.

Yes coaching Pakistan (and India) is possibly more stressful than coaching any other cricket team. I am not sure if that's what you mean and if you do then you have a point. Also that defeat to Ireland was possibly the final nail in the coffin

TRUE...and I would agree that Woolmer quite possibly had a previous chronic health condition. But I have heard of a number of people who aggravated their existing health condition (esp heart related) after a very stressful or depressing event. It would be too much of a co-incidence for the same to not apply in Woolmer's case given the circumstances of his death (in the aftermath of Pak's upset defeat)
You still want to hear what is in your heart thats why you seem to not accept the heart attack as reason of death... no matter how much justice is done you will not be convinced now.
ya i just don't want to ignore this like you, I think you are not aware of something let me remind you once again, in first post mortem report poison was found in his body or you can say in your theory that was mineral water so he got heart attack?

Pak's upset defeat to Ireland was not the first UPSET in the World of Sports neither would it be the last. That is not the point. But for a Coach to die of heart attack in the immediate aftermath of his team's UPSET defeat means there were probably other contributing factors Pakistan-team wise. May be it was that Woolmer did not like the Pak team spending too much time on religion than cricket...who knows ? All I am saying is that, given the circumstances, it is very likely that Woolmer would be still alive if he was not Pak's coach.

There was no poison in his body once again start reading some decent press instead of zee and rediff. Get it.
The first postmortem was inconclusive and the second one was done by an incompetent pathologist who came up with this asphyxiation theory.
^ so which media do you believe uncle ji? you don’t believe Indian media coz that is always baised according to you, jaha tak i’ve read your posts you don’t believe in western media as well when it comes against Pakistan, chinese mujhe aati nahi, Japanese news i can’t read, french you can’t understand so sorry please i can’t share anything, by the way when did you start believing in western media
watch star plus for whole day and I am sure you will agree.
an example: coverin indian team flight from india to WI…(abhi jahaaz nepal kay uper say guzar raha…air hostess players ko khana dey rahi hain…dhoni apnay baal set kerr rahay hain…rahul dravid phone pay baat ker rahay hain…sachin toilet mein hain…)
^ did i say that you murdered him? or whoever that person is can be Pakistani or should be pakistani? what it has to do with murder rates in the world? i just want to say a proper justice should have been done to woolmer but it doesn't seem happening.
but you cant ignore the fact that Pakistani team and their image suffered the most in terms of getting stupid allegations from all over the world, including indian media due to irresponsible investigation followed by irresponsible journalism.
ehsaan: you are feeding the trolls here. I don't think we can convince hollowman of anybody's innocence, nor do we owe him any explanations. In the end it's not what hollowman says that matter.
I heard there would be a press conference next week announcing that the death of Bob Woolmer was natural and not a murder. I feel very sorry for his family though who had to suffer through this and not knowing how their loved one died.
I dont think we can blame media from a certain country for anything as far as this case is concerned. It would have to be blamed on the imcompetent investigation from the local authorities. The first news channel to break the news claiming Woolmer was murdered was Pakistan Geo Tv and Indian as well as Western media picked up the news from Geo. They all reported the news citing Geo as the source until the next day when it was officially announced that Woolmer was murdered. After that media just ran with the story, everyone had their theory about what happened and one cant really blame media for it. Thats what they get paid to do.
PCB should take some action agianst the concerned authorities for damaging the name of Pakistan cricket and infact the name of Pakistan in general and tormenting Pakistani players, putting them under stress and treating them like criminals. At the least an apology from the Jamaican police to the Pakistan cricket team should be forthcoming.
