My brother saw the plane flying dangerously low over F-7/4 near Margalla Hills when he was leaving for work.
He thinks the pilot deviated too far from Islamabad airport. He should not have been flying over Margallas. The second cause could be the pressure plate which gives lift to the aircraft. The pilot did try to lift the aircraft at the last minute as he noted that the crash site was near the top of the hills to the right of F-7/4 but because the pressure plate did not give him sufficient lift, he failed to clear the hills.
This is very tragic news and lets hope that the culprits at Air Blue or CAA get punished. But this is Pakistan. People can get away with murder here.
Well that is one theory circulating in Islamabad. After flying low over F-7/4 residential area the pilot was seen to elevate the aircraft but sadly he could not get enough elevation and the plane crashed into the top of the hills
? mechanical failure ?bad weather, ?pilot error etc.
may the victims RIP and may God give their families the patience to deal with this tragedy.
when will this stop? plane crashes, floods, suicide bombings, target killings. what is happening to our country? and I was watching that mofo Fareed Zakaria on Jon Stewart's show. the kinds of things he said about Pakistan, I honestly felt like ripping his head off clean. we suffer the most - be it natural disasters or man made - and yet the whole world still points the finger at us. on the globeandmail, the top comment on the story when I read it was by some racist beech who said that the plane going down meant 200 less terrorists in the world. honestly hum kahaan jaayein aur kia karain...
i hv heard plane not only hit by hill. but also it is hit by mizile. as it was a no run zone area. means here no plane can'y come. and automatic mizile may be hit to it as it enters. wt do u say ?

Very sorry to hear about this guys...My heart goes out to all the people who have lost their near and dear ones in the crash and Esp my heart goes out to the newly married couple who had gone for their honeymoon.... may god help the the bereaved families at this very sad and traumatic time....
How very sad that people can't just offer their condolences they have to speculate and even go so far as saying hurtful and inappropriate things. If you don't have anything nice to say please don't say anything at all.
