ICC doesn’t think it was a ploy to make money by Hair, he was under stress, he thought he was helping ICC by asking for money and resigning.

Yes it is definitely in the best interest of the game that we get rid of Hair. I don’t know how much it will be in the best interest of ICC to pay him this amount.
Mr. Hair definitely is blackmailing and pressurizing ICC, thinking that if ICC have slightest intentions of making a decision against him, they should start reconsidering.

There are actually more details available on Cricinfo site now. And they support what I just said: "Hair is asking to be compensated for the income he would've earned in the enxt 4 years."
But the important thing to note is that Hair wanted this payment to be confidential and ICC has already gone public with it. Secondly, he's asking for wages for the next 4 years, but what if the inquiry found that Hair is to be fired because of incompetency and bias in his decisions? Then there would be no question of 4 year wages.

ICC didn’t wanted to disclose it, their lawyers idd and PCB lawyers also asked them to make it public once they showed it to them.
