Yes very good question and a good response. It appears that the West needed to create a phantom to justify the recent wars and now they see the side-effect of negative sentiments on Muslims in their own lands. To sway their own hot heads towards more balance they need to give this "symbolic death" to the people so they can feel at ease again and hence release a bit of tension on their Muslim neighbours.
It seems on the grand scheme they have detected the need to balance the scene a bit lest there is created a lash back from a pressured community. There are signs that Muslims are under pressure in the West and that although was a necessary side-effect for the war it did have to be addressed later.
I believe Usama bin Laden has died about 3 or 4 times since 9/11 and they have killed his second in charge also a number of times. It's all about creating the most suitable balance on the political climate. They are quite good at doing this and their media machine is the tool they use.

I’m sceptical. There’s no evidence reported as to his body being shown and apparently just hours after being killed, his body is in the ocean in accordance to ‘muslim practice’.

US claims he was there since last 6-8 months. But it cannot be possible. Knowing his stature, he cannot just sit there like a sitting duck for this much time. I strongly believe that his place is one of his numerous hideouts and was constantly roaming around.

...and right so. Obama himself mentioned yesterday that Bin Laden has been in that house atleast since August 2010 - thats 9 months. Ever wonder how he was hiding in Pakistan right under the nose of the Pak authorities ?

Read my post earlier. He could nt have stayed at one place like a sitting duck. He must have moved places in these last few months. Did you see Obama give ANY details regarding the operation? Its only later and through media that we are learning what went on. And even then not all of it is believable.

Ofcourse, Pakistan is to blame yet again. Show some bloody respect for the sacrifices that Pakistan has made and the TOTAL co-operation that Pakistan provided to the US forces, there is no way in hell the US could have done this alone! Stop annoying me with the insensitive posts!!
