This is extremely sad. I'm seriously gutted especially after seeing the heart wrenching image of victim's father holding the young man's bloodstained and half mutilated face in his hands. Those pathetically callous souls who are defending this act of sheer cruelty need to imagine their son lying dead in Tahir's place. Sorry to be crass but it is time some of you develop a conscious.

By the way, it has to be said, what's up with bunch of jahils who think anyone who dares to protest is part of a 'mob'? Don't they feel any shame in mindlessly throwing this word around? You had victims family and some angry witnesses out on the street protesting, helplessly crying for the case to be registered and police to arrive. But what do you see, some thick headed, dim witted good for nothing scoffers calling them 'mob', condemning them for not showing servitude instead of the murderers. Do these Jahils even know what the mob actually looks like? How do these sorry dastards expect people to protest if not come on streets and chant slogans - stand in a single file and read flippin' poetry or sing choir? Idiots.
It's like the minute you express your anger and frustration at their status quo by exercising your right to protest and speak up, them jahil scoffers are quick to label you as mob/fascists/terrorists/laskar/attackers/killers/ghadars. There is a reason why country's most educated and professional sectors feels compelled to react and not give a hoot about these labels. I believe it is this unconcealed contempt for anyone who protests against this oppressive system is what driving more and more people to take positions and rebel. The more you try to outlaw and sideline them, the more they try to make their voices heard. The unjustified and misguided contempt is something that's fulling the fire. I know some stupid PPP trolls were quick to paint Tahir's family as mob for just protesting and grieving on the streets and criminalising them (some seriously pathetic souls honestly), but do you honestly think CM would've taken the notice had the family and witlessness not protested and media not reported? Seems like open air protesting is fast becoming the only way to make this Godforsaken system get activated and make authorities to take mere 'notice' of the gross injustice.
The question is why O why do we need a call for CM to register a murder FIR? Why do we need a call from Army Chief to register a murder FIR? Why do we need protests to get a murder FIR? Why? Why and for how long such discrimination and abuse of law would continue? I mean just get rid of police department all together and let Gen Raheel Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif decide the submission of FIRs.
I know the absolutely pathetic and inhumane status quo lovers will continue to paint Tahir's grieving parents as mob, terrorists and traitors, but most Pakistanis salute their courage to stand up to the powerful mafia and demanding justice.
