Brazillian Wax

Re: Brazillian Wax

Oh my Gosh… u might have left the wax for long time. You have to pull it off quick. To tell u the truth, I never did it myself, I mean I tried, but it’s better to get it done from a professional. I am not sure if you shud attempt it after laser. That might have made skin more sensitive. Laser has it’s own side effects. Let your skin heal good before u apply anything else.

Re: Brazillian Wax

Last week I had to explain what a brazilian wax was...to my boss.:whistling

Re: Brazillian Wax

Yeah that is them!

It was not all that painful. Taking an asprin an hour before, going the day after your period (less water retention) and putting your mind in a happy place.. works.

The embarrasment was not too bad, since they do it with the clinical precision and impersonalness of a physician. And besides they have quite literally seen it all over the years.

Re: Brazillian Wax

my waxign lady does a brilliant job down there. she took 15 minutes to do mine ( i had a lot down there), and i just listened to songs on headphones. it was like taking a sticker or scotch tape off... ona scale of 1 to 10, it hurt like maybe 6. armpits are an 8. and it stayed clean for full three weeks before it started to grow back! i was sooooo happy! shes amazing!

Re: Brazillian Wax

better suited here...

Re: Brazillian Wax

Pay the big bucks and get laser hair removal done .... totally worth it.

I would say the contrary…6 for armpits and 8 for down there :bummer:

Re: Brazillian Wax

Since I can't get wax, I tried the sugaring thing...........I don't think I did it right though but maybe it's because it was the first time? It did pull most hairs, hurt like ** the first couple of strokes, but it was fine after that. I don't think that the hair was long enough and the sugar stuff didn't come out right. I had to shave the hairs that were remaining both for down there and arm pit. But I am so trying it again. **

Re: Brazillian Wax

anyone had side effects of laser therapy?

Re: Brazillian Wax

I used to wax (brazilian) and I would say the first time you do it, the pain is probably about 7.5/10, after you have been doing it for a while the pain becomes less because the hair gets thinner and less sparse. I started laser in April, and have had 4 sessions so far. The results are ok so far, but Im not completely satisfied. The hair is much thinner than before, and some parts dont have any hair left at all, but its not completely clean like some people say happens with laser. Im hoping that in my next 2 sessions all the hair gets captured, otherwise I would have to start waxing again. what kind of side effects are you talking about?

Re: Brazillian Wax

if you get a brazilian from someone that is good and has great reviews, it will not hurt as much as from any ol' joe. It hurts and anyone who says it doesn't lies. Make sure you go to someone who takes their time and does a lot of brazilian waxes, especially is you don't have a high tolerance in pain. If it is your first time then the hair is long and it will hurt but afterwards, if you maintain it regularly, it will never hurt as much as your first time. Don't tense up because it will hurt more! I have has some AWFUL experiences and some pleasant (as much as it can be) ones.

and armpits do not hurt nearly as much as a brazilian wax!

Re: Brazillian Wax

Urmm, I've a question for you ladies. How long does one have to wait for between two waxing sessions? What I'm trying to ask is if hair should be of a certain length so that it can be pulled out easily with wax?

Re: Brazillian Wax

Ipanema salon’s AMAZING. It’s not chic like J sisters but they’re thorough and it doesn’t hurt one bit! … J sisters are good but super expensive http://www.ipanemadayspany.com/

Re: Brazillian Wax

don't wait too long wishkamar. The longer the hair the more it hurts. You should maintain but getting waxed ever 4-5 weeks. Ask the lady who does it because generally they can tell if you have very thick hair, if your hair grows quickly, or if you can wait longer than 4-5 weeks.

Re: Brazillian Wax

Hello everyone

Does any one know any good places to get a brazilian in the U.K? and how much does it cost?

I read a post here saying they don't get al the hairs removed because it looks to little girly if all hair are removed, but isn't it a must to have all hair pubic hair removed in islam? All has to be removed otherwise your pleet/impure.

Re: Brazillian Wax

That's trimming hair, and making sure its not a jungle...A full brazilian is optional but by no means is it a farz on you.
