Brazilian Wax

:omg: :omg:

Re: Brazilian Wax

I guess wash after wax in not recommended. hmm

Re: Brazilian Wax

:omg:

just pay for the job and have someone else do it for you ..

the question was for ppl who wax not for those who have to go get it waxed.
but yeah you can have detailers do it to, thats why I asked in the beginning whether detail shops in pakistan use brazilian wax, because in general the cars there seem to be dirty, well washed..but not like waxed and polished

:halo:

Is it just me or every post in this thread is ambiguous? and that too with a “straight face”! :konfused:

Re: Brazilian Wax

That is X2 style. Its all his fault.

Re: Brazilian Wax

lol:rotfl:

Re: Brazilian Wax

Hahahahahhahahahahha. This read is pure genius X2. Hahahaha :rotfl: :omg:

:lifey:

finally!, someone takes good care of there motor here!, yeah Brazilian wax is good, I’ve heard there are car waxes that cost more then $4,500, especially the ones that are made from some… thing… that can only be found in the Amazon jungle, they say its so pure that it is 100% edible, I can’t really think of anyone who’d want to eat there own car wax… :hmmm:.

I use Swizol car wax (oorrrrrr as the Swiss would call it “Wachs)” called “Mystery”, it comes from Switzerland, its 60% Carnauba and it really works, brilliantly infact and like most Swiss stuff - it smells absolutely fabulous!, it lasts for more then a couple of months, cost’s? - well since I buy mine online, it cost’s me €440/165 KWD but its worth it, you should try it.

what do you drive by the way?.

yes I’d trust a Bentley with buffers, infact I’d trust a Ferrari 250 GTO with buffers these days but nothing beats the hands, takes more time but its always time well spent in the end.

if you love your car?, yes then it is… :chai:, have you ever been to a concourse
challenge before?, something like the Concours d’Elegance @ Pebble Beach in California?, its where people gather with there better then brand new looking cars and then they’re are judged on how original and factory fresh there cars look, even after 50-60 or maybe even a 100 years and all that is possible only if there cars are carefully looked after and waxed every month or so because if they don’t? - no matter how much you clean your car, use the best cleaning products, its age will show, the paint will start to deteriorate.

not at all, its not one bit pain staking, you get the results as soon as you apply the wax on and start to scrub it or buffer it, its a really good time pass for the week ends or when you’ve got nothing else to do.

a friend of mine, he had a 1968 1800 BMW 2002 that belonged to his Dad, now I must tell you that he (my friend) is not a car person, he drives around in his RR Sport HSE and doesn’t really care if it does 0-62 mph in … for ever but he loves detailing his car, it all started with that tiny bimmer, one morning he had nothing to do, he went into his garage and took the dust cover off his dads car and thought about killing some time by giving it a good wash, one thing led to another and now he waxes his dads (now his) BMW 2002 every month and he restored it back to its original condition, the car (once a Rust bucket) is as new as it was in 1968! and he loves doing it now, infact he now treats every car that he owns in the same way, his range doesn’t have the usual 50,000 ton chrome wheels on it or the candy paint or the loud stereo, its completely dead stock metallic gray but it still stands apart from every other Range Rover Sport on the road today, it looks better then a new RR Sports!.

I treat my cars to a good wax every couple of months and I love doing so, you should try it once your self, personally interior is my favorite area to work on, you find out things about your car, things that might need replacing, things that might not come across during every day while driving to work, things that might cause damage to your car.

Re: Brazilian Wax

I am not sure why you guys think there is ambiguity in this thread. its just a simple innocent thread about car care. :konfused:

My next thread is going to be about special creams for the fine soft leather interior and how to keep it supple and soft and prevent it from drying and cracking, because that would just be painful to see and feel.

its a series of threads about car care, including

1- how to find the right car and maintain it,
2- how to break a car in,
3- how to figure out if your car is actually salvage even though it may have a clean title,
4- very important: what to look for when going for a rental car, and its impact on your insurance in teh event of some unfortunate accident,
5- what to watch out for with “Hybrid” cars.
6-I will also discuss innovations of the west like car pool lanes which are not present back home.
7- whatppl do when their car is in the shop, advantages and disadvantages of each approach..walk, use taxis, public transport, or telecommute…
8- why u can never appreciate a car unless you know whats under the hood

:omg: :omg:

These will be very interesting threads… Responses will certainly be depending upon personal choices/preferences yet certain aspects can be generalized. I do have some experience in the automotive industry and certainly provide my feedback.

Re: Brazilian Wax

jaadugaar yaar be my guest and start these threads, good to see other car fans :)

:omg: :rotfl:

like they say…once you’ve had a Brazilian wax there is no going back :halo:

I’ve heard good things about the Brazilian…but isnt it costly? how much?

I guess if you’re driving an expensive car then you should expect to dish out money for it’s maintenance.

Re: Brazilian Wax

Carnauba wax has always been used on my cars, as far as i know. What is the difference between this and brazilian?

Re: Brazilian Wax

carnuba is a specific brazilian wax.
