Bouquets - yes or no?

I think the reason why bouquets work so well with the traditional white dresses is because they're WHITE so a colourful bouquet would look lovely. It really annoys me when a bride will wear red with red flowers with the tacky diamantés. yuck! I'm not having a bouquet because I don't like how it looks against desi clothes but I do LOVE flowers. Ive just never seen anyone be able to pull if off. It just looks too much!

Re: Bouquets - yes or no?

SGC - I had a question. Do you know where I can get cheap baby's breath? Do you know any good wholesale places? Do we need some sort of permit for wholesale flower places or can anyone go and buy flowers from there?

Re: Bouquets - yes or no?

it totally depends on how one carries it!!

Re: Bouquets - yes or no?

^ you need a vendor permit, i.e. you can only get it as a vendor, in order to shop at most wholesale places. some will do wholesale and retail so you can purchase from them without a vendor permit. if you are working with a planner or a decorator, you can ask them to pick up the baby’s breath for you with their vendor permit as a favour to you.

check the intersection of avenue and davenport. they have lots of florists there with very good prices compared to florists. they’re on the south west side of the intersection.

alternatively, you can check these florists out too- The Best Florists in Toronto
i’m pretty sure they would sell you just the flowers for a diy bouquet.

I love bouquets! you can get amazingly elegant ones made.

It looks lovely in this picture. But I very much agree that having too much of the same colour (i.e. fully red lengha AND red bouquet) looks too overdone.
