If you like fiction then go for Mustansar Hussain TaraR's'Khas o Khashak Zamane'. Its a classic and deals with our current circumstances beautifully

I will say Hamaqatain by Col. Shafiq Ur Rehman. If you guys love to read Urdu tanzo mazah (comedy), then this book is highly recommended.

or if you are into crime mysteries then "along came a spider"..i am forgetting the name of author for the moment

I personally am into anything by middle eastern writers these days. I am reading stuff by the egyptian nobel peace prize winner, Naghuib Mehfouz.
