Re: Books, Books, Books
Qabz e Zaman is related sufi concept of Bast e Zaman. It is based on Rumi’s lines where it says ‘kabhi kabhi khuda apne kuch khas bandon ke waqt phela deta hai, jab ke dossron ke liye waqt kotah rehta hai’. Its about a person from old era who somehow traveled in future and how he adjusted himself in such circumstances. characters are classic Urdu poets like Mir Taqi Mir. Just started reading it. There was a review of this novel in this Sunday’s dawn.
