Bomb blast at Mall road Lahore.

hard to logic with a post that provides such astute factual information. M2K perhaps you could use your head for a change , any claim requires evidence, do you have evidence? no? then i suggest shut up. since i am not saying whether taliban are behind this or not. i donot have to provide any evidence. for you to make a claim you need evidence.

dang!
u really think so?

Re: Bomb blast at Mall road Lahore.

Maybe a sharp fork instead. Make no mistake, this is a civil war.

When they are videos, radio broadcasts, captured taliban.....

Re: Bomb blast at Mall road Lahore.

Al Qaeda has released a video claiming the responsibility for this and many other attacks in Pakistan. The bomber in this attack was one named Sajid Bhat and Musab Syed. They have claimed all Pakistanis to be murtad and hence bound to be killed. The video shows the attackers training and recording their wills. Will this convince the CIA/Raw/Mossad conspiracy theorists?

BBC NEWS | South Asia | Analysis: Why attack Lahore?

Political instability has given them encouragement, and they have thrived as they once did during the 1990s under state patronage.

Whether Pakistan’s current government is up to the task of defeating them remains to be seen.

President Asif Zardari’s government certainly has the desire to go after the militants. But whether it has the required backing from the military is an open question.

**Pakistan’s military has always seen the country’s “strategic interests” through a different lens from the civilian governments. In the past the military has acted as godfather to the militants.

But never has the country faced as great an internal threat as it does now.
Experts say the situation can still be remedied if both parties agree that eliminating the militants is in Pakistan’s best interests.

If that does not happen, fears will grow that Pakistan could become the next Taliban state. **

These talibans are deeply intoxicated and religiously brainwashed people. They can be handled with a force which completely destroys them.

But what is the use ?

A second line of similar brainwashed human will crop up after the destruction of first line.

The whole education system of Pakistani which is too much bent towards religion is responsible for all this mess. You have deleted long chapters of Pakistani history only because it belonged to non Muslims.

This form of education which is too much geared to religion, teaches violence and hate. It speaks like ,'we are pure while all others are Kafir' so kill Kafirs.

You are living in the 21st century and you talk of 8th century.

Come to secularism. Teach children good tenets of other religion also, make them respecting all human beings. They must become individuals who raise voice against injustice, poverty, human sufferings and all universal evils. Don't ghetto people to a restricted sense of uneducated Mullahs to the narrow bylanes of Islam.

Islam never taught hate and violence. Also not all mullahs are to be quoted here... there r many who gave fatwah against such killing n were killed the very next day.

Teaching Muslims other religion isnt an option and cant be an option. When Quran being the final book and Islam being the most purified and final religion, then why teaching other religion..

its like you have objection about Islam directly (naozbillah) and thats not good.

Re: Bomb blast at Mall road Lahore.

so sad and no words for that buritality....
and we still blaming someone somehow........
we made this monster by ourself
to always chose bad and corrupt leaders.........
with help of nonsence mullahs

Have you studied in Pakistan? Obviously not, I have and no one told or taught me to kill kaffirs or anyone else for that matter. You ought to look at you r own education system which is full of hatred towards Pakistan and it flows through your media everyday. The same mentality is on display on ay online Indian site. Full of hatred towards Pakistan. Try writing something positive about Pakistan or negative towards India and you are banned form these sites before you can push the post button. Where does all this mind set come from, obviously from the education, media and general social upbringing in India. So yes we have our own drawbacks but go clean your own house before lecturing others.

You have said it all bro!!!!
Pakistan is in this mess because of so many things. Indians would love to believe (or forced to believe in INDIA) that all Pakistanis study in Madrassahs and first lesson we get there is "how to carry out suicide bombing".
Only about 5% people study in Madrassahs and probably 5-10% of those madrassahs are directly/indirectly responsible for terrorism.

Indians muslims are as much religious as Pakistanis (Yousufkhan would know if he is not hiding behind a muslim name). US-Russia cold war has played the biggest role in our country's destruction. It doesn't mean that Pakistanis are blameless but we would have been hundred times better if we weren't located in this part of the world.

There is a reason why religious parties hardly get 5% of votes in Pakistan. In fact, hardliners get more votes in Indian than in Pakistan.

I dont think I should be reminding you of the laws that are in force here. The poster made a comment about the education system in Pakistan. Nowhere did he mention that the education system in India was all hunky dory. There are issues. Our education system is not filled with hatred towards Pakistan. I agree that there is overwhelming feeling that Pakistan is behind some of the dastardly acts in India. Incursions in Kargil and the lame response of the Pakistani establishment after Ajmal was captured is a testament to growth of these feelings.

I know I am deviating from the topic. To comeback, Why is that we have these many suicide bombings in Pakistan. Either education is not doing what it is supposed to do or there is a lack of education. Either way something needs to be done to impart the right kind of education to the masses. That might mitigate the problem to a large extent.

To a very large extent I do agree with you. Pakistan is paying for somebody else's sins.

Re: Bomb blast at Mall road Lahore.

Came across this news about a Pakistani in Oregon getting charged for supporting this suicide car bomb attack on the ISI building in Lahore in 2009. Wow, the suicide bomber and the person that sponsored him were identified. The bomber Ali Jaleel from Maldives traveled to Pakistan and trained in a camp (guess where?)! This Riaz Qadir Khan is the second person in new getting charged or convicted of providing support to AlQaeda and Taliban. Last week this Imam in Miami was convicted of sending money to Swat Taliban. Now this guy from Portland is charged.

^ A Maldivian brother had to travel all the way to Pakistan to thank us for the hospitality?

Re: Bomb blast at Mall road Lahore.

This bomb was to attack the ISI office in Lahore, while people mostly killed were bystanders stopped on the traffic signal near Wapda House, Mall Road Lahore. The terrorists tried to enter Rescue 15 Building, but the guards stopped them. Hence the terrorists detonated at the main gate, which is located on the busy Shahrah e Fatimah Jinnah. My office around 500 m away shook by the impact, it got me thinking for a while if it was a bomb blast or an earthquake. Went to the window and saw the flames arising from the building.
