thanks! the chiffon and silk ones are lil expensive for me, the pink is lawn rite?
yes, the pink one is lawn but i wonder if there's black embroidery on it or if it's just print. i was thinking of a really pale yellow one but it turns out that the dupatta is printed but the suit is self doria lawn for Rs.1800 and with embroidery (as shown in the pic) is for Rs.4500. so i'd ask if i were you.
i find it so annoying why all the sellers can't put up a brief description along with the price, available colors, etc. do they not know how to do business? it would save everyone so much time and energy if they do things properly!
I just had a look at the pic closely. It says Sitara Fabric DHA Lahore.I have heard the name from my sister.she usually does her shopping from there.I'll ask her to find out.
1800rs with shipping via TCS means 200rs for shipping. The actual price could be around 1400-1500rs for a suit.
^ yea they said they were shipping using tcs, so hopefully it'll be cheaper at their exhibition. apparently they are afraid they will run out of stocks b4 their exhibition....interesting

I just saw the pics of BOLD lawn(I SO DONT LIKE THE NAME BOLD LAWN)on guddu&shani 360 degrees FB group..they also uploaded lakhani prints which I guess are the ones who print sana safinaz designs too.

^ i think it's just a selling tactic by the lady. she told me to place an order each time she answered a question.
lol.yes..she did that to me too.I asked her if they had an exhibition on 12th,she said yes but it's better to buy online cuz the stock might end up before that..I was like phir visitors ko yeh kahayn gee keh kapray sub online bik gaye hain..chai zaroor pee k jayen sub :D
if you looked closely at one of the pics, it states the names of the shops & cities where they are available. it's really hard to read but i think in islamabad they are available at melange, the shop i told you about yesterday.
yes thank you, I didnt look that closely. If I go there, I will let u know :-)
I am just afraid that the prices might be high due to Islamabad location and also melange wanting to get the profit too.
^ Good Idea, but I think I should first see some other options in Pakistan and if nothing is of my liking then I am just ordering through these GS designers (eg. prototype, Cyma, Pakifairy) all seem nice and reliabable.
Hey where in F6 is the melange shop ? (I just allways think of coffee when I am reading the name of the shop! :D)
^ only coffee would much cheaper :) anyway, according to one of the articles, Mélange is located at House #41, Street # 6, F-6. however, it didn't specify if it's F-6/1, F-6/2, F-6/3 or F-6/4. i suggest you call 17 when you get there and get their exact address and/or telephone number.
i think you'll be able to find a lot of stuff in PK, you just need the time, patience and of course $$$ ;)
btw, there's also someone called mehvish salim in the F-7 area. she advertised on GS once and also has a FB group. i'd check her out as well as her prices aren't bad for semi-formal wear.

I will have the time but just hope the condition stays with me! :)
thanx for the info.
^ you’re welcome. i just remembered another shop called “Vogue Inn” in King’s Arcade close to Jinnah Super where Maria B along with a few other outlets are located. i don’t know if it’s there any more or not because this was two years ago but i got something made from them on the basis of a sample i had in a record of THREE days! i chose to buy the fabric myself and they took care of everything else…dying, stitching and hand embroidery. they should be able to make copies too if you want any made.
here you go, in case, you miss this post, our GS Research Queen, Mahismart provided this info:
I have just returned from the bold lawn exhibition.I confirmed with the owner abt the FB group.that group doesnt belong to her and she was surprised that their name was being used like that...
