OK. Here goes mine, some of might have heard this already.
3 friends rent a house at 30 Rs. They collect 10 Rs. from each (10+10+10=30) and hand the amount to a 4th person to deliver to the house owner. The owner is in a good mood, so he returns 5 Rs to the fourth person. That person while coming back spends 2 Rs. on pakoras and returns the remaining 3 Rs. to the 3 friends giving 1 Rs. to each. Now if you calculate each friends contribution it comes out as 10-1=9 Rs. (because each one has gotten 1 Rs. back) and 9x3=27 and adding 2 Rs. the 4th person spent 27+2=29 Rs. Now where is the remaining 1 Rs.
