Really really tragic news.. This is really turning out to be a nightmare.. May he rest in peace and may Allah grant his family patience and give them the strenght to overcome this tragic and sad loss. :( :(
I hope the autopsy revels the exact nature of death otherwise we will get into JFK and Zia type conspiracies that ISI or others killed him or something
no doubt that indian media will be the first to report such conspiracies
Its really really sad. And puts the whole thing in perspective.
News reports now say that he was severely diabetic. And as such high tension is/was bad for him. All Pakistani fans know that anyone with diabetes should stay miles away from Pakistan cricket. Our cricket is nothing but tension.
May his soul rest in peace, and the Almighty give his family the courage to bear this loss with fortitude and patience.
He was the one guy who held the shatters of this team together. The one guy who smiled and believed in the team when the players themselves couldnt give a ****.
Something needs to be done in Pakistan. A monument, a dedication, something. He deserved it before and now more than ever.
I just heard the news during Australia/Holland commentary. It is definitely a very sad news.
I think we as people have taken cricket a lot more seriously. We are following it like it is a religion to us. After Pakistan loss, I've heard on the local news and newspapers that people came out on streets in Multan and shouting slogans like "Death to Inzimam" & "Death to Bob Woolmer" etc.
Pakistan loss was definitely heart blowing - but its still a game people. Everyone wins and loses, but life should go on.
Is this the way we should treat our players?
I think after this incident, when our team comes home, we as Pakistanis should welcome them with a lot more love than what we've shown recently. Humain unka hosla barhana chahye - they are our own people.
