This is so sad and tragic. :( The Pakistani government should award Bob Woolmer's family with the highest Pakistani civilian award (Nishan-e-Pakistan or Hilal-i-Imtiaz). Bob did so much for our cricket team and was so sincere and professional in his work. He really wanted to make a difference without having any personal agenda. He will be thoroughly missed.

Oh wow. Totally forgot that incredible piece of yellow journalism by Dawn newspaper claiming Woolmer had used racial remarks against shoaib. What load of crap. Our media does not recognize that racism is an important issue for some people. Woolmer was a gentleman through and through! He did not deserve whatever crap he recieved on daily basis.

As bad as it was for Shoaib to do it, and it sounds worse now that Bob is dead, I don't think we should discuss that right now..media just needs something to talk about. Lets just remember the good times yar :/

Yes. We should. It just feels so incredibly sad. The more I try not to, the more I end up thinking about him, his jolly nature and his mannerism in face of extreme treatment at times. sighs

I have to say that the Pakistani news websites are a load of crap. Except for a hint of the news in the "Breaking News" section, even DAWN has nothing.
While most Indian news websites have the Bob Woolmer story as their leading news item and are being updated by the hour if not by the minute.(and its well past midnight in India)
Even for the matches, DAWN appears to report about only the first half of the match in their morning edition. Looks like all their staffers are sleeping through the night.

There are speculation for suicide but the autopsy results are not out yet. We have to wait for the result to kinda figure out what happened. But really sad to hear.

5Abi bhai its not my opinion I am just posting from what I watched on Headline Today they are saying that one of the speculations are being consider suicide.

teaser, i think some other speculation may be that he was poisoned. as sad as his death is, i just hope that it was neither poision and nor suicide and that he died of natural causes
