In the early 70s’ my father used to take us there! The Basin was very clear then - no rubbish no fuss! The fare was 25 paisa only!

We were fortunate to climb the light house and see the amazing prisms in it thanks to a relative who worked at the KPT!

Upon arrival at the Manora Basin, you can see the kids swimming and diving in the crystal clear water to pick up the coins the visitors threw!

The beach is very steep and dangerous in the months of May to August!

Its still dangerous i feel giddy i once went and that was my last experience 15 years ago
