i had my bike stolen despite the lock, but it was a cheap walmart lock and could be cut open easily. if you think that people living in your neighbourhood are not really thieves then invest in a good lock and keep it in front of the main door. guest or no guest, keeping it in the living room should be out of the question!

I don’t know much about the apt. people because I just moved here a couple of months ago. I do know that my neighbor downstairs lives with a young son and she is a very nice lady. People upstairs right across from my apt. are all grown up adults and seem to be shareef people, I doubt if they would do anything. It’s just my nature that I don’t trust others easily. It won’t be in the living room to be exact, it would be in the dining area, which is connected with the living room but separate.

this one we were told by our afm prof during frosh week at uni.
there was a professor at a university who used to always take his first year students on the building tour. there was a hallway on the upper level with a non-breakable glass walls. in order to scare his students, he would always run right at the glass, giving an impression that the glass would break and he would die. once he was giving his students a tour. they came to that hallway, and as usual, he ran towards the glass wall in full speed. he hit the wall, and the wall broke. the bloke fell off of the second floor, and died.
i am not sure if it's a true story (even though my prof said that it was), but if it is, then that man in my opinion deserves the blonde award.
