Blast in Pindi

Re: Blast in Pindi

And then we have people like you who are connected to the army and do not want the truth to come out about the shady dealings of our military dictators. If you want accountability in Pakistan, it will have to start from the top.

Re: Blast in Pindi

20 years gone by, yah i would like to know what had happened. Wait, let me fire another email to dad

Re: Blast in Pindi

Bhai, a lot of people here post negative things about politicians, mullahs, NGOs etc, in Pakistan. There is nothing sacred about Generals nor nothing inherently wrong. One thing is clear - anoyone who had a role to play in the blast that killed and maimed hundreds of innocents and anyone who is protecting the people behind it have nothing to be proud of.

Re: Blast in Pindi

Yes, the public has a right to know (I agree with kehkashan), so many innocent people died, and anyone who hides information will be answerable to God, inshallah. Alot of people died, the least someone can do is tell their relatives/friends why this happened. Junejo wanted to find out what exactly happened, and Zia kicked him out.

I remember there was a kindergarten school whose roof collapsed close to our house, and later during the day they went and tried to rescue surviving children beneath the debris. They only found bodies of innocent children, as immediate assistance could not be provided because of the shells falling. This is something I will never forget. So what if two decades years have passed by, I bet the parents whose children died still remember that fateful day and still deserve an explanation. I hope they publish a white paper and make it public as to what exactly led to this tragedy.
