They did not leave India when India demanded an open access the the BB server.

They only gave India access to the BBM messages. They didn’t allow India to access the encrypted enterprise emails sent through BB devices. Pakistan’s demands go further than India’s , Pakistan wants to access the emails too.

For instance, in India, BlackBerry didn’t give the government full access to its enterprise customers’ communications, but it did give access to regular BBM communications, for which BlackBerry has the cryptographic key.
