Thanks ehtasaab, but mines are not grey/brown, they are black, I just substituted ‘grey’ for ‘black’ and found there’s a wiki article on them, mine are fatter and prettier than the pic displayed.
My mom says they’re not likely to become tame, her brother once bought some black teetar eggs which they hatched under a hen but as soon as they hatched they realised the hen wasn’t their momma and ran away into woods… She says the grey teetar’s can become tame and they always use to hatch them under hens who bought them up like their own chickens (ultimate adoption).
Aliyish and Radiance, black teetars are meant to be quite pricy. Every tom, dick and harry has grey teetars and bateyrs but black ones are a status symbol. ![]()
