Lastly, do not rush to conclude that every stomachache or headache or financial loss or trial in life is due to magic. It may not be and I think that many times it isn’t. And everything happens with Allah’s will. Stay regular in your ibadat, recite your adhkar, and dua karo…these are powerful tools for prevention and combat.

I very much agree with this. While I believe black magic does exist, I do not believe it is as common as people make it out to be. Many people blame black magic for every, and I mean every, negative occurrence in their lives:

• Having family problems? Black magic
• Having trouble finding a spouse? Black magic
• Having marital problems? Black magic
• Having health issues? Black magic
• Can’t conceive? Black magic
• Death in the family? Black magic
• Cannot find a job? Black magic
• Lost your job? Black magic

Not every misfortune that we face is the result of black magic and some negative events that happen in our lives are meant to happen because it is Allah’s will. I also think that black magic is conveniently used as an excuse by some people to evade responsibility for their own actions and behaviours which may be the cause of negative occurrences in their lives.
