Re: black magic and Jadoo
Yes people CAN stoop that low. We all get jealous, but some people are consumed by their jealousy and they resort to such tactics. Magicians themselves have no power, magic doesn’t take place without Allah’s will. I may be wrong, but the way I see it is that Allah allows magic to take effect so that He can reward one party for their patience in combatting this affliction through ibadat…and so that He can punish the other party (the magician and the people who seek them out). Think of it as Allah making their path to punishment easier. I may be wrong, but this is how I see it. If we ourselves don’t pray 5 times a day and recite our 3 Quls and Aytul Kursi, then shame on us. Magic is not incurable. The people who sought to have magic done on you will pay a heavy price. Karma slaps you three times harder for your evil actions. So, understand that your offenders will be punished. I can totally understand the severe disgust you feel for people who resort to there, cuz I’ve been there myself. But life was not meant to be smooth sailing. You had to be tested in some way. You could have been tested with poverty or terminal cancer or blindness etc etc. When you look at it from this perspective, you will realize that this is your test and you can beat this; Alhumdollillah it is curable. Magic is no match for Allah’s kalaam. Just as we take spiritual measures such as reciting 3 Quls and Ayatul Kursi for protection, similarly we have to take practical measures in real life such as being careful about how much your reveal of your personal life to people you don’t trust and being mindful of personal belongings. I think that those who are regular in their ibadat are more immune to attacks of magic even if one were to get a hold of a picture or a lock of hair etc etc.
