Jinnah wanted a nation where Muslims were majority. He didnt mean Islam was the majority. He wanted a nation where Muslims the political, social group could be the majority. He didnt mean it in a religous sense. Not everyone will agree, but this is in line with his speech where he said that religoun is not the bussiness of the state. Explain this to your fellow Indians.

that is he wanted a state where muslims could run their writ because of being a majority. that is exactly opposite of secularism. Jinnah may be a westernized anglofile dude who drank, ate pork slept with kafir women and was not religious in any sense of the word but his politics was motivated by communal worldview and his legacy is very un-secular.
