Indian State is ‘secular’ only in name. In fact it is a ** ‘minority appeasing’ ** state. For example…in India any movie making mockery of Hindu Gods can be shown without problem, but the Vinci code is banned mostly in all states.
You can easily find controversial books on Krishna and Rama’ life, but India was the first country to ban Salman Rashdies’ the Satanic Verses.
Friday is a dry day.
No one can open a wine-shop in the vicinity of a Mosque.
No one can use loudspeakers from 10 PM to 6 AM but Mosques frequently disobey this court order for noising Azans at night/ early morning hrs.
You can easily find beef in Indian cities, but pork is a problem.
And India is the only country where the majority community ‘Hindus’ can not build a temple of its own choice.
And definitely sooner or later someone will exploit the sentiments of the masses,……let it be BJP.
