After 5 mins I switched on tv n thn gave her toys but she again came to bite me (such a dheet bachi) I again switched off tv n she came running to me hugged me..... At tht time I knew now she understand uff.. I told her if she is gone a bite no tv no toys for her n v vl not talk to her I don't know whether she is getting me or not (she is 15 months).
To cut short from last two days no bites allhumdullah..... But again she is hit unwell from 2 days so can't say tht she stopped or just bein lazy..... Hope so she is fne today n I l observe....
Khawa, I agree a light smack on bum or back of hand when they are outta control does no harm whatsoever! It helps... I just meant at that specific time if your tellin a kid no biting/hitting and you hit/bite them your just confusing the heck outta them LOL
the older they get the less the naughty corner works so you just gotta use other tactics, and yeah bum pats and hand pats are fine once in while when they do batamizi etc!!!
The problem was.. He was 2. And just wouldnt listen. Everyone was complaining and had been for such a long time. She thought… Laath ki booth baaton se nahi maante… A kid of 2 should k ow better and like u said… Naughty corner doesnt work for older kids… So she gave it a go… I was more worried my son would get the habit of biting lol ..
Thankfully he didnt… But u r right… Its a very confusing signal..
