In countries like Pakistan,India,etc.. this is vital for saving lives from snakebites and also insect bites including malaria bites.Remember doctors are far and few and it may be too late to administer anti-venom far away in villages.
Every house should have one.It is very cheap and you even take it from thrown away cigarette lighters.
I urge everyone to read the wikidot article and the various links throughly over a week.
You will find many reports by actual users including before/after pictures of people bitten by spiders and which did not heal using conventional means until they tried this.
