You’re absolutely right mukobhai - birth control is practiced by those people who fear they will not be able to provide for their children. If you search for birth control zakir naik - in the videos/articles - he says that people should not be worried about having more children as rizq is determined by Allah. He ends with asking if you think you can plan better than Allah then go ahead with birth control. Of course no one can plan better than Allah so his question is a clever question indeed.
Sir again indirectly you have raised the same issue of Rizq

However I think we have to be pragmatic - already Pakistan has shortages of food - water and electricity. If we keep on having babies our population will become unmanageable, uneducated, unfed.

Mukobhai - you mention that birth control is indirectly shirk - can you please, please provide a reference for this claim? In real life you might be an alim or a mufti - however it doesn’t say so on your profile - and hence in religious matter I cannot take your word as the final word unless you back it up with either a reference from the Quran or some religious scholar.

Sir by giving this logic of food shortage you have proven my point Rizq is determined by ALLAH it has nothing to do with producing babies Islam clearly states that ALLAH provides Rizq to everyone and secondly you said about the link sir just use common sense if some is going for birth control directly or indirectly thinking he will be to provide good food to less children he is basically thinking he is the provider of rizq and that is shirk
