Is it necessary part of being a jiyala to defend each and every step of their leaders? Has Zardari ever refuted the allegations that this palace was not gifted by Malik Riaz. If I were in his place I would never have constructed my house in his society from my 'legal' income.

They don't defend. The classic reply is that as long as some 'other' criminal is in the country, it is the right of PPP deleted to continue leech the country as much as they want.
There is no sense of responsibility that when you are in government, it is your job to curb corruption, instead of competing with the criminals. The party workers are emotional and the leaders make most of the emotions, taking away any ability from the supporters to pause and think for a moment.

Your party members admitted on talk shows that the house is a gift. Sharmeela Farooqi just yesterday accepted that, and said that its not a crime to accept a gift.
As for coming to court, Zardari and Benazir have had a habit of sheepishly coming forward only when things burst apart. Remember Surrey palace? Even then, jiyalas, who constantly have their heads buried in sand, or in sajda, refuse to accept BB and Zardari's corruption as corruption.
