^Pakistan and US both supported the talibs until a certain point…umm yeah so if you want to blame, blame the whole country including the army rulers as well as the civil governments. Why just single out the democratically elected governments to prove your point ( the article posted by bruceW) against democracy.

After US abandoned Afghanistan it was chaos, regardless of when they got trained, it was BB era when they were made group, a force who then took over the control. I am not singling out “democratically elected” govt by any means, I am simply telling you a fact, claimed and admitted by the very same govt, if it happens to be a democratic govt then so be it. I am not making up a statement/claim, just passing you the statement/claim from them.
