: President Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday conferred ‘Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Award for Democracy’ on Aung San Suu Kyi, the icon of long struggle for democracy. The president, who arrived in Myanmar Tuesday, especially flew from Naypyidaw to Yangon to meet the head of National League for Democracy. ينگون … صدر آصف علي زرداري نے ميانمار کي جمہوريت پسند اپوزيشن رہنما آنگ سان سوچي کو شہيد بے نظير بھٹو ايوارڈ برائے جمہوريت عطا کيا ہے. نوبل انعام يافتہ آنگ سان سوچي کو شہيد بينظير بھٹو ايوارڈ برائے جمہوريت دينے کي تقريب دارالحکومت ينگون ميں ان کے گھر پر ہوئي. تقريب ميں پاکستان پيپلز پارٹي کے چيئرمين بلاول بھٹو زرداري اور آصفہ بھٹو زرداري بھي موجود تھے. صدر زرداري کي طرف سے آصفہ بھٹو زرداري نے آنگ سان سوچي کو ايوارڈ ديا. صدر زرداري نے جمہوريت کيلئے آنگ سان سوچي کي جدوجہد کو شاندار الفاظ ميں خراج تحسين پيش کيا. انہوں نے کہا کہ آنگ سان سوچي جمہوريت اور انساني حقوق کي ايک عظيم علامت ہيں. اس موقع پر آنگ سان سوچي نے اميد ظاہر کي کہ وہ دن ضرورت آئے گا جب پاکستان اور ميانمار عوام کے حقوق يقيني بنانے کے لئے مل کر کام
کريں گے. صدر زرداري اور سوچي کے درميان ملاقات بھي ہوئي جو 45 منٹ تک جاري رہي، دونوں رہنماو?ں نے دو طرفہ علاقائي اور عالمي امور پر تبادلہ? خيال کيا.

Nothing , But it was a real great thing . I avoid to start a new thread so it is posted to a related thread about his presence at a great occasion .

Actually we have forgotten academic things now a days .Our standards have been gone so down and we have come so bias that we do not care for any thing . Like most here forget the great struggle of our leaders and workers for democracy and public rights . I remember hundreds who passed sveral years of their lives for these causes . many who sacrificed their lives for democracy . I remember one Kamran of Rawalpindi who remain ten years in jail for a pamphlet only typed on a typewriter for democracy . Now a days every thing is money only .
