I heard when women prepare for bikini season, they get their bum,chest, lower back, stomach waxed as well, true?

I would NEVER get it done from anyone else either, just do it myself at home, its not that difficult once you get the hang of it

bikini wax...yes easily do-able at home
brazillian wax i don't think should be done at home since it's too difficult to do it... i know some people do it but for most people it's too hard

as for double dipping... all the salons i've been to in Toronto that claim that they never double dip actually do double-dipping so I don't know why they even bother claiming it.
I don't know if anyone else has had better luck

I've never had any infection problems though because I've only been to really clean spas but can't seem to avoid double-dipping

midnighteyes: of course you can double dip since you are the only one using it...it's scary to think that if someone has some contagious infection and if the esthetician is double-dipping then other people can get it from that wax

actually i realized every time i used to get my upper lip/chin waxed at the spa i would break out so i switched to threading at the spas. the last couple of time i needed my upper lip done, i didnt have the time to go to the spa so i did it at home using wax and voila, like magic, no rash, no breaking out.

so apparently i am NOT allergic to wax as i thought i was....
just allergic to the bacteria in the spa wax pots, and mind you, i was going to a nice aveda salon, not some ghetto place.... phir bhi ye haal....
