ISLAMABAD: Federal Law Minister Wasi Zafar is set for the chop, according to reliable sources in Islamabad. The top candidate for the job is the former law minister Senator Dr Khalid Ranjha. Daily Times has learnt that the president and prime minister both have been deeply embarrassed by Zafar’s many gaffes which have made him an object of ridicule in the media. It is understood that Dr Ranjha has been closely advising the government on the legal aspects of the current situation and is staking a claim on the job on the basis of his advice and closeness to the establishment.

well I am surprised to see such a person as justice minister of Pakistan anyway. My father actually arrested this lunatic when BB was in power and he was a PPP MPA. He was running un lincensed arms manufactering company. It was rare to arrest a opposition MPA let alone a govt MPA. But I guess Punjab Govt was didnt oppose this then. He had enough evidence agaisnt him and spent some years in Jail.
now I just couldnt believe that man of that stature come to govt and become a Justice minister. PPPP-mushy deal. wow!
