Bhutto’s Widower Calls For Pakistan Unity Government

LAHORE (AFP)–The husband of Pakistan’s slain opposition leader Benazir Bhutto told AFP Wednesday he would form a “government of national consensus” if her party wins next week’s elections.

Asif Ali Zardari’s comments appeared to leave the door open for power-sharing with either ex-premier Nawaz Sharif or even the former ruling party that backs President Pervez Musharraf.

Just like Musharraf, Zardari is willing to do anything for the kursi.
