best skin cream/moisturiser

Re: best skin cream/moisturiser

did u girls try Jergens moisturizer ,its very good and what about Revlon with vitamin c???

Re: best skin cream/moisturiser

Yes that is it. From the drugstore and cheap too. Dermatologists and plastic surgeons use it all the time personally and in thier offices/clinics.

You heard of Patricia Wexler.. she is a famous dermatologist who is profiled in Allure, Vogue etc. Her office has Cetaphil at every sink. Ironic considering that she has her own line of cleansers.. lol.

If you ever watch that show on Bravo… DR 90210 .. on plastic surgeons… they show cetaphil in pretty much every doctors office.

Also try cetaphil lotion for the body/face. works great in winter.

Re: best skin cream/moisturiser

Have you guys ever tried a cream called archi? it's made in Thailand (i think) but quite popular in PK too?

Re: best skin cream/moisturiser

I use neutrogena. I love it. :)

Re: best skin cream/moisturiser

I’ve used Dove xfoliating wash, st ives apricot scrub and this one.. they’re all teh same which is gud cozt heres no horrible allergic reaction but bad coz theres not much change :halo:

Re: best skin cream/moisturiser

My brother uses Cetaphil stuff cuz his skin is very sensitive.

I moisturize using the St. Ives moisturizer (the one that comes in a pink tub) and/or a Body Shop Vitamin C (I had the "Skin Boost" -- i LOVED it and finished it up, need to replenish).

Re: best skin cream/moisturiser

please dont use it. it has steroids in it. it can cause everything from skin discoloration to birth defects and miscarriages.

Re: best skin cream/moisturiser

Cetaphil is the best. Every dermatologist I've been to says to use it. I'll never use anything else. Don't use Clinique. Again, every dermatologist I've been to says it actually makes problem skin even worse.

Re: best skin cream/moisturiser

i've always liked olay....

Re: best skin cream/moisturiser

I use PCA's moisturiser with SPF. ITs the only sunblock product that doesnt leave my face greasy. Also, i used Cetaphil for a while but to be honest, i jsut couldnt live without no lather in my face wash. It felt like no matter how much i used, my face just didnt feel clean. And it didnt do nothing for my summer breakouts either.

Re: best skin cream/moisturiser

omg same here, it just f4eels like i’m rubbing lotion on water.. coz of the heat, my face braeks out :bummer:

Re: best skin cream/moisturiser

OMG is that true? i thought it was just a normal cream? I know that some girls mix it up with other creams and that is harmful... but is it bad on it's own? The reason why i ask is that you can buy that cream from lots of pakistani/indian shops in the UK. I thought it was a normal pearl cream?

Re: best skin cream/moisturiser

yes its available everywhere, and girls do mix it with other creams etc, only because it makes ur skin appear fair and clear (as they say!!), but actually, its just like putting foundation on your face but a more harmfull version, let me give you a real life example, i know a girl who put it on her skin and she was addicted to it, and ive seen her these days, shes got blotchy skin, white in some areas and brown in others and pigmentation on her face is really bad, she also suffered from acne. Also another story, one girl wore it and started looking 'fair' and now she has the skin condition 'vatilago' (not sure of spelling) the skin condition michael jackson has, and he face is like white - but again patchy cos her original colour is brown, and there are blotches everywhere. so please don't wear it. You can suffer from all types of skin conditions.

The best is make do with what u have, if you skin is clear and in good condition - thats all you need....

Re: best skin cream/moisturiser

I've heard simillar stories about girls who have mixed archi with various creams and now have really bad skin but i had no idea it was harmful on it's own!! i'm so glad i know this coz i was seriously gonna buy archi cream as one of my friends uses archi (alone) and her skin looks great but as you said this is just at the beginning and her skin could get worse.

Re: best skin cream/moisturiser

best skin cream/moisturiser

 pata nahi

Re: best skin cream/moisturiser

it probably looks good, but don't tamper with your skin. im sure every girl is tempted by it.

The best thing is to, cleanse, tone and moisturise, use a good cream and have regular facials, keep out of the sun between 11-3pm -sun as its most hottest, or otherwise wear good sun protection.

Re: best skin cream/moisturiser

I agree with everything you've said! I think a lot of people are sucked in by these kinda things because of what the manufacturers claim...for example if you look at the arche website it says "Beauty and Safety, No Mercury, No Hydroquinone" at the bottom left. I think it's these kind of statements that make people think it is safe to use such creams.
