Re: Best oil for hair? I'm going bald.

6 if one has any left after this mixture lol :)

It smells extremely bad making it difficult to put in ur hair. But if u can do it three times a week for 2 hours, u will see a lot of difference in a month

It never suited my hair either.

I was losing hair because of constant use of straighteners. I started putting on pure amla oil regularly (not dabur amla or any other branded oil!)

It was a help

Eucalyptus oil and clove oil along with a base oil such as olive oil/coconut oil is said to increase circulation to the scalp and cause hair to grow back. I shall get u the exact amounts shortly Inshallah.

Sadly "baldness" is a gentic thing and no external oil massages can help it. However I think what you may be experiencing is thining of hair due to stress or other enviromental factors. A wholesome diet rich in calicium , iron and silica can help reduce and prevent hair loss. Also get your hormones level checked, as hormonel imbalance can cause hair loss.

^ That's right.. infact the vigorous massages and washing-out of shampoo causes furthur breakage and hairloss. The above mentioned oil is for better blood circulation and blood supply to the roots.

i think more than a good oil you need to get a complete bloodwork done to see if you're deficient in something
a lot of women get iron deficiency and that results in loss of hair too along with other symptoms
if you don't want to get it checked then increase your protein intake and definitely stress or lack of sleep is another big factor
even getting sick like getting flu can temporarily increase hair loss

Yes it is very good for getting rid of lice! But that oil is very strong and some people are allergic to it!

I was at my friend's home and she was rubbing this oil into her daughters hair because little one had lice. The daughter started crying and complaining that her skin was burning! The Mom washed off the oil with shampoo but the daughter's neck, throat and shoulders had this awful 'burnt' look and little one was in pain for quite a few hours. We had to rush her to ER. That oil doesn’t suit everybody!

Do a patch test behind your ear, wait for 48 hours and if there is no reaction then its okay to use. :)

Thats a good idea to mix it with another oil! :)
