yeah and not too expensive either behtereen kaam aur sasta what more could you ask for? ppl loved my mehndi the colour and the delicate design..i would highly recommend meena bazaar ....anyone in meena bazaar does wonderful work
yes..she is very expensive but i heard her mehindi is really good..so how was the mehindi of your cousin's wife ..was the colour dark
yes it was beautiful.
i got my mehndi done from meena bazaar. it wasn't dulhan mehndi or anything, i just wanted to get mehndi done professionaly from pakistan a day before i was leaving for america.
i would say i hated it. it was nothing like how i wanted it. i like traditional sort of design, not the indian kind but something intricate and pretty but they just filled my hands with vines and lines and other stuff. the color started to come off even before it got fully dark.
maybe they do a better job on dulhans, but what i got was very disappointing.
girls i cant go to meena bazar..why dont sabs themselves apply mehndi..thiking of getting makeup done from there...uroos is too dam expensive...i can manage till 6-7 but 15 is too much..
You can call mehndi walis at home as well. Brides generally don't go outside for mehndi applications. The artists can come over for bridal, friends, family mehndi application.
yeah they do come to ur place when u ask them to.. u r required to provide them pick n drop, or rikhshaw ka kiraya what they call it :) . but thats just worth it i suppose, and they hav many nice patterns with them n u hav to choose one.. I dont know if all mehndi walis out there at meena bazar do the same but we had this experience with the lady called Ayesha..
Also, if you can ask a friend or family member to go to Meena Bazar, do a survey and gather contact info of mehndi artists who are willing to make the trip. You’ll find loads, I am sure.
i dont have anyone who will go to meena bazar...but i hope i just find a good mehndi artist..if nothing will be arranged i will choose uroos ...though its expensive..
I will definitely add my mehndi wali's contact here, but the issue is I seem to have misplaced the number. :s But I'll look for it, or will post it in June, whichever comes sooner. I would also like to add that people can buy amazing mehndi at Dhorajee, from random stalls even. The color comes out amazing, and the mehndi is fresh, with no chemicals added. Also, it is common knowledge that Bori wali mehndi artists are the best for mehndi application. They come in groups of 5 or 6 girls/women to your house, and apply really beautiful intricate designs. I'll see if I can get any contact numbers. In case I don't, go to Rangoonwala Centre in Dhorajee and ask them for information, they will definitely be able to help. Might not hurt to ask the person you buy the mehndi from either. Hope this info helps.
There is a girl named Shizza in meena bazar. She was comfortable in coming to my home provided either i give her pick and drop or pay for her transportation. I showed her some designs on flickr and facebook that I liked (just to give her an idea what I wanted). She did a pretty good job but I seem to have lost her number. I guess most of the girls there are very capable and can make any design you want (Arabian, Indian, etc.)
Dia anyone find a good mehndi artist who does house calls in Karachi?
Sorry about this super-late addition, but here we go:
Sana- 0333-3016769
Sana and her girls have been trained by Boris. They apply very beautiful mehndi, Sana does it for the bride personally. The patterns were all quite delicate, the only issue I had was that the color of the mehndi was not very dark on the back of my hands (it was fine on my palms), and actually, it didn't darken for anyone on the back of the hand. Also, the mehndi seemed to lose its color quite quickly. If you prefer, you can provide them your own cones. I'm sorry I don't remember her rates, but they were reasonable. They do not have any pick or drop issues, once you book them it is their responsiblity to get to your house.
i was about to create the same thread but i found already this so posting here
my issue is same... i am getting married INSHAALLAH after EID and i am confise o choose between uroosa or kashee's for mehndi
i heard tons of things about uroosa and had mix reviews regarding their designs

but recently i had chked kashee's fb page and they are doing an amazing job in terms of mehndi applications ( fb ki hadh tak tu yehi lag raha ha ) but i had worst reviews regarding kashee for their rest of services and i am now confused to choose either whom for my big day
