hmmm.. I am always late to work.. soooo I have used all of the following excuses...
I got pulled over by a cop ( I showed them an old ticket)
I am sick ( I sent a fake doctors note)
My dog is sick (showed them my dogs picture)
I woke up late.. no excuses there
I did not know what time I was supposed to come in
My luggage got lost at the airport
My car got in a wreck (it really did but I didnt go to work for 2 weaks even though it was fixed because I wanted a vacation)
I sprained my wrist ( I wore a fake cast the next day)
One time, I wanted a vacation so I told them I have to go to paki urgently for some business.. hahaha
but I can not lie to ppl on their faces so I would text my boss or have my mom call my manager... lol I am so glad I dont woprk nowadays :)

in school days a few times when i wanted to skip class i would say “miss I m not feeling well, I have a stomach ache/ or head ache, can I get a sick leave”
other times when i wanted to get out of class for sometime i would hold my nose and pretend i needed to get a tissue
